If you’re a fan of Sushi, you need check out Unagi Sushi in Troy. They have an amazing selection of rolls to choose from like the Congress which was bright and delicious. It contained salmon and mango topped with yellowtail, thin slices of jalapeno and Thai chili cilantro sauce. The Godzilla was incredible too. It’s a deep-fried roll with bacon, scallop and asparagus topped with mango salsa. The food is not only delicious, but beautifully presented too. I can’t wait to go back and try some of their other selections.
Another cool spot to try is Plumb Oyster Bar, also in Troy. They have an ever-rotating selection of oysters, all with a different flavor profile. The day I went they had a nice offering ranging from briny to sweet. I had katama, bluepoint, pinkmoon, willapa, St. Simons, and Irish point. Paired with the Prosecco on tap, the combination couldn't be beat. I may need to add one of those to my kitchen!
The selection of places to go in Troy continues to grow. It’s exciting to see and experience the love and creativity these entrepreneurs put into their establishments. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for this budding food city. #reallyenjoyingtroy
