Apparently these cookies are all the rage. I haven't tried making them yet, but they look delicious. I wanted to share in case you felt like trying the recipe (and sharing some with me:). Salted Butter and Chocolate Chunk Shortbread Cookie Recipe
Fall is in the air which means it's squash season. This is a delectable appetizer and the sweetness from the butternut balances out the saltiness of the cheese making it totally addicting. Roasted Butternut Squash Bruschetta
Who doesn't love a good glass of Prosecco? Below is a recipe for Prosecco Slushies and Grapesicles which I like to use as a garnish. Cheers to warm summer days and cold delicious drinks! Prosecco Slushie
And here is the recipe for Grapesicles but you could use any fruit like strawberries, blueberries etc.
Fruit Pizza I've never tried jelly on it (as the recipe recommends) but it may be good. I'll be making a rectangular version this weekend using strawberries and blueberries to create a flag.
And last but not least, who doesn't love an old school Ice Box Cake
Have a fun and delicious July 4th weekend!
Easter is only a few days away so I wanted to share some of my top picks in case you are cooking and still looking for something to make. Even if you have your menu set, these recipes are great for any springtime dinner or even for Mother’s Day! Appetizers-
Seven Layer Dip (I like to swap out the olives for pickled jalapeños)
I was drooling when I saw this recipe for Bacon Cheddar Twists in Puff Pastry on Brunch at Bobby's the other day and had to share. I can't wait to make this as a Sunday morning treat and for the upcoming Easter holiday! I think I'll use the Everything But the Bagel Seasoning from Trader Joe's instead of poppy seeds though. Oh and by the way, and he happened to mention Mrs. London's in Saratoga on this episode too! Love a little upstate NY love on national TV!
Winter is upon us yet again which means comfort food. I wanted to share this amazing recipe from Food & Wine that we made on Christmas Eve, and it ended up being a huge hit! The sweetness of the root vegetable mash went so well with the savory braised beef short rib, it was perfect combo. We plan on making it a few more times this winter. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did! Braised Short Ribs with Root Vegetable Mash
Does it get any better then graham crackers, toasted marshmallows and chocolate?!?!?!
